EFCC Unveils Electronic Learning Management Studio to Boost Anti-Corruption Fight.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has launched an electronic learning management studio at its Academy in Karu, Abuja, to enhance the intellectual capacity of its workforce and promote distance learning.
The studio, commissioned on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, during the 6th Annual General Meeting of the Network of National Anti-Corruption Institutions of West Africa (NACIWA), is part of the EFCC’s efforts to leverage technology in the fight against corruption.
EFCC Chairman, Ola Olukoyede, emphasized the importance of technology in combating economic and financial crimes, stating that the studio will add value to staff productivity and capacity development.
The studio is designed to provide an alternative learning environment for EFCC staff, ensuring continuous professional development even during challenging times.
The launch was attended by anti-corruption experts from the West African sub-region, including members of NACIWA, ICPC, MacArthur Foundation, ECOWAS, USAID, and others.
The EFCC Academy, designated as the training academy for NACIWA, aims to lead in innovative training and education, recognizing the importance of digital era trends.
The electronic learning management studio is expected to open doors to endless possibilities for growth, learning, and innovation for EFCC officers, Nigerians, sister agencies, and stakeholders.
