NEMA Evaluates Flood Impact in Numan LGA, Adamawa State [Photos]
NEMA CONDUCTS FLOOD ASSESSMENT IN NUMAN LGA OF ADAMAWA STATE.
The recent heavy downpour in Numan LGA of Adamawa State, has resulted in widespread flooding that affected communities such as Imburu, Gadamti, Bulki, Vulpi, Gamadio, and Bare,
The unfortunate incident caused a displacement of about 2436 persons (406 HH), with the majority currently taking refuge with families in Numan town and some surrounding LGAs.
The assessment team paid a courtesy call to the Vice Chairperson of Numan LGA Hon. Maimuna Bariki.
She welcomed the team and briefed them on some of the areas affected by flood disaster. The team thereafter proceeded to the affected communities to conduct needs assessments.
