Sokoto State Police Public Relations Officer, Ahmed Rufai, confirmed the incident, stating, “A fire incident occurred on Saturday at the command headquarters, affecting six offices in the administrative block. The fire service promptly extinguished the flames.”
The incident has raised concerns about the safety and preparedness of critical government institutions, highlighting the need for enhanced security measures to prevent such incidents.
