‘Baddoo’ Kills Police Officer, Steals Rifle
Alleged Cop Killer ‘Baddoo’ Arrested, Confesses to Robbery, Murder.
The Nigeria Police Force has apprehended Kayode Johnson, alias ‘Baddoo’, for allegedly killing a police officer and stealing his AK-47 rifle. Force Spokesman ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi paraded the suspect on Tuesday, revealing that Baddoo was arrested on June 12, 2024.
Baddoo confessed to leading an armed robbery gang operating in Ikorodu/Ijebu-Ode. He admitted to taking the officer’s rifle after the murder. The rifle was later recovered from a gang member by Lagos State Police Command.
Two locally made pistols, four live cartridges, and a cutter were seized from Baddoo during arrest.
