Nigerian Navy Foils Cement Heist, Nabs Suspect.
In a swift operation, Nigerian Navy Ship LUGARD intercepted a stolen Dangote cement truck on September 18, 2024. The vehicle, carrying 900 bags of cement, was en route from Obajana, Kogi State to Jalingo, Taraba State. The suspect was apprehended and handed over to the Nigeria Police Force’s Lokoja Command.
The Nigerian Navy’s timely intervention showcases its commitment to securing national assets and combating crime.
