Osun Amotekun Arrests Woman for Using Counterfeit Naira Notes.
A 30-year-old woman, Rebecca Ako, was apprehended by the Osun Amotekun Corps for utilizing fake N1000 notes to purchase food items at Sabo Market in Ilesa.
According to Corps Commander Dr. Adekunle Omoyele, Ako confessed to the crime, citing financial difficulties as her motivation. Ako alleged that she was introduced to counterfeit currency by a former co-tenant, Mrs. Elizabeth, after her husband abandoned her.
