Patience Umo Eno Dies After Prolonged Illness.
Uyo, Akwa Ibom State – Pastor Mrs. Patience Umo Eno, wife of Governor Umo Eno, passed away yesterday at a hospital after a prolonged illness.
The state commissioner for information, Ini Ememobong, confirmed the news in a statement released early Friday morning.
According to the statement, the first lady died peacefully in the presence of her family, but details of her illness were not disclosed.
GOVERNOR MOURNS LOSS
Governor Umo Eno expressed appreciation to those who supported the family during this period, assuring citizens that his commitment to serving the state remains unwavering despite the personal loss.
“The family submits to the will of the Almighty and asks for prayers and support during this difficult time,” the statement read.
FAMILY REQUESTS PRIVACY
The family has requested privacy as they mourn their beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, with further details to be provided in due course.
