Ibadan Horror: Teenager Beheaded in Senseless Attack
A gruesome and shocking incident has shaken the Olorisaoko community in Akinyele Local Government Area of Oyo State, leaving residents in a state of utter confusion and horror. On Saturday, a 14-year-old boy, Malik Kareem, was brutally beheaded for ritual purposes in Ibadan, the state capital.
According to investigations, Malik had recently completed his West Africa Examination Council exams at Iyana Community Grammar School, Olode, Moniya, Ibadan. Tragically, he was lured into a money ritual scheme by a Muslim cleric, who is now on the run, along with three of his friends.
Family sources revealed that the three friends had secretly plotted with the cleric to use Malik as a human sacrifice for the ritual. The cleric strangulated Malik to death, beheaded him, and cremated his head. The family was informed that the cleric and his accomplices planned to use the victim’s head to make a ritual concoction to be consumed daily.
In a fit of rage, unidentified youths in the area set the cleric’s house ablaze. The Oyo State Police Command has commenced investigations into the incident, with the Police Public Relations Officer, Adewale Osifeso, assuring that updates will be provided accordingly.
This heinous crime has left the community reeling in shock and grief, with many demanding justice for Malik’s senseless and brutal murder.
