Two suspects arrested over stealing of police station signboard
The Kano State Police Command has arrested two individuals in connection with the theft of the signboard at Bachirawa Police Station, located in the Ungogo Local Government Area of the state. According to SP Abdullahi Kiyawa, the command’s spokesperson, the suspects were taken into custody with the help of local residents who provided valuable information. The announcement was made on the command’s Facebook page on Wednesday.
His message written in Hausa, translated to English, read, “The person who stole Bachirawa Police Station (sign post) and the person who collected it are working hand-in-hand. Residents of the neighbourhood have brought up a new sign post.
“We are grateful to the people of Bachirawa.”
