President Tinubu Jets Off to France on Monday for Official Visit.
President Bola Tinubu is set to embark on a diplomatic trip to France on Monday, August 19, departing from Abuja, the nation’s capital. This was confirmed by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, in a statement released on Sunday.
Although the purpose of the President’s visit remains undisclosed, the Presidency has assured that Tinubu will return to Nigeria after a brief work stay in France. This marks the President’s fourth trip to France since assuming office.
Tinubu’s foreign trips have been frequent, with previous visits to Equatorial Guinea, London (twice), Bissau (twice), Nairobi, Porto Novo, Pretoria, Accra, New Delhi, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, New York, Riyadh (twice), Berlin, Addis Ababa, Dakar, and Doha.
In related news, Nigeria and Equatorial Guinea have signed an agreement on the Gulf of Guinea gas pipeline, further solidifying the country’s international relations and cooperation.
