Anti-graft Agency, EFCC declares man wanted over alleged $400,000 fraud

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has issued a public alert declaring Babatunde Adesioye, 47, a wanted person in connection with a suspected fraud involving $400,000. According to a notice posted on the EFCC’s official Facebook page on Thursday, Adesioye is accused of stealing by conversion and obtaining money under false pretenses.

The EFCC revealed that Adesioye’s last known addresses were in Ikeja and Magodo, Lagos State. The agency is seeking assistance from the public and urges anyone with knowledge of his current whereabouts to come forward and contact any of its offices nationwide, located in cities including Ibadan, Uyo, Sokoto, Maiduguri, Benin, Makurdi, Kaduna, Ilorin, Enugu, Kano, Lagos, Gombe, Port Harcourt, or Abuja.
