Bandits Wreak Havoc in Kaduna, Killing 7 and Abducting Many.
A wave of terror has swept through Kaduna State, as bandits launched a series of deadly attacks on communities and a hospital, leaving a trail of death and destruction in their wake.
In Kallah Afogo Community, Kajuru Local Government Area, bandits killed six people and abducted several others during a raid on Sunday night. The victims included Garkuwa Alfarma, Buhari Maidiga, Uba Auta, Yakubu Gaku, and Atabata Naallah. A local who pursued the bandits into the bush was also killed and mutilated.
In a separate attack, bandits struck at Bakin Pah in Maro Ward, killing one person and abducting six others. The community is now calling on security agencies to enhance security measures and ensure the safe return of the abducted individuals.
In a disturbing turn of events, bandits also targeted a Primary Health Care Centre in Kuyello, Birnin-Gwari Local Government Area, abducting two nurses and an unknown number of patients. The attackers had initially targeted a nearby school but found it empty, before turning their attention to the healthcare centre.
Eyewitnesses described the scene as chaotic, with bandits wielding guns and machetes, dragging people out of the hospital. The exact number of patients kidnapped is still unknown.
The Kaduna State Police Command has yet to react to the incidents, leaving the communities in a state of panic and uncertainty.
