Tragedy Strikes Zamfara: Couple, Four Children Killed in Truck Accident.

A devastating accident occurred in Gusau, Zamfara State capital, on Sunday, September 29, 2024, claiming the lives of a couple and their four children. The tragic incident happened at approximately 8:30 a.m. along Gusau Hotel roundabout.

According to eyewitnesses, the truck driver was reversing when he collided with the family, who were riding a motorcycle. The driver fled the scene, leaving behind a trail of destruction.

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) promptly evacuated the bodies, and the victims were laid to rest on Sunday evening.

Community leader Reedwan Abdulazeez and security expert Zagazola Makama confirmed the incident, expressing shock and sadness at the loss of life.
