Two Suspects Arrested for Transformer, Cable Theft in Edo.

Edo State Police Command has just made a significant arrest, taking down an ex-convict named Richard John Abdullahi for kidnapping and armed robbery. Abdullahi and his gang invaded the home of Promise Ehichoya in Ekpoma, abducting him and collecting a whopping N6,000,000 ransom before releasing him. But that’s not all – they also made off with Ehichoya’s vehicle and various household items, including phones, electronics, jewelry, and clothing.

The police were hot on their trail, and using technologically driven intelligence, they tracked down Abdullahi to the Zone C area of Apo resettlement quarters in Abuja. When they searched him, they found a Beretta pistol with three live ammunitions and recovered the stolen gold chain and bracelet from his home.

Key Recoveries:

Stolen Items: Gold chain, bracelet, electronics, and clothing
Vehicles: Unregistered gold-colored Toyota Sienna and two motorcycles
Firearm: Beretta pistol with three live ammunitions

Abdullahi spilled the beans, revealing his gang members, including Ishmael Peter (the gang leader), Emmanuel Audu, and Lucky, whom he met while serving time at Koton-Karfe Prison in Kogi State. Police recovered some stolen items from the homes of Audu and Peter, but unfortunately, they were nowhere to be found.

The police are now working tirelessly to bring the remaining suspects to justice.
