EFCC Arrests 14 Suspected Fraudsters in Makurdi Operation [Photos]
A major crackdown on internet fraudsters in Makurdi, Benue State, has resulted in the arrest of 14 individuals suspected of involvement in online scams. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) carried out the sting operation on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at the Federal Lowcost Housing Estate in Makurdi.
Acting on credible intelligence, EFCC operatives swooped in on the suspects, who are believed to have been engaged in various forms of internet fraud. Those apprehended include:

– Samuel Otene
During the raid, operatives seized several items, including mobile phones, laptops, and charms, which are believed to have been used in the commission of the alleged crimes.
