In a landmark move, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has repatriated stolen assets to the Canadian government, marking a significant milestone in the fight against cross-border fraud.

The EFCC handed over $180,300 in cash and 53 vehicles to the Canadian Royal Mounted Police (RCMP) in a ceremony held in Abuja. The recovered assets are proceeds of fraud and corruption, which were traced to Nigeria and recovered through a collaborative effort between the EFCC and RCMP.
