In a heartwarming display of commitment to youth empowerment, Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has offered automatic employment to Mr. Mkpouto-abasi Ime Umossoh, a first-class graduate in Nautical Science from the Academy of Maritime Education and Training (AMET) in India.

The governor’s gesture came after Umossoh appealed for a sustainable means of livelihood during Eno’s inspection visit to the ARISE Park project site in Uyo. Umossoh, who hails from Essien Udim Local Government Area, had graduated with a First Class in Nautical Science and holds a National Diploma from the Maritime Academy of Nigeria.

Moved by compassion, Governor Eno directed the Secretary to the State Government to liaise with the Commissioner for Transport to engage Umossoh in the state’s passenger cruise ship project after due diligence.
