The group was kidnapped during a February bandit attack on their school. Security forces reportedly played a key role in their rescue, though details remain scarce. The Zamfara State Police Command is verifying the release.
This comes after a similar incident where university students kidnapped in September 2023 were released in April 2024 after 205 days in captivity.
