Akwa Ibom Governor Presents Flags to 31 PDP Chairmanship Candidates.
In a ceremony held today, Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, presented flags to the 31 chairmanship candidates of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) ahead of the local government elections.
Governor Eno commended the state chairman and executives of the party for maintaining a united and growing party structure. He congratulated the chairmanship and 369 councilorship candidates, describing them as ambassadors of the party in their respective areas.
The governor charged the candidates to focus on issue-based campaigns, eschewing insults and character assassination. He urged them to highlight the achievements of his administration under the Arise Agenda, citing the past 15 months’ records of service, accountability, and forthrightness.
Governor Eno prayed for a safe and issue-based campaign, committing the candidates to God’s guidance and protection.
The governor’s presentation of flags to the PDP chairmanship candidates is seen as a significant boost to the party’s chances in the upcoming elections.
