Israel Strikes Back: Airstrikes Target Yemen's Ras Isa and Hodeidah Ports [Video]

Israel’s Response to Houthi Aggression: Airstrikes Hit Yemeni Ports.

Israel has launched air raids on Yemen’s Ras Isa and Hodeidah ports, targeting Houthi rebel strongholds, in response to the group’s recent missile attack on Ben Gurion International Airport near Tel Aviv. The Israeli military deployed dozens of aircraft, including fighter jets, to strike power plants and sea port facilities, causing widespread power outages and feared casualties in Hodeidah.

The Houthi rebels, aligned with Iran, have been launching attacks on Israel and Israeli-linked ships in the Red Sea, Gulf of Aden, and Bab al-Mandeb Strait since November last year. The Israeli military claims the Houthis operate under Iran’s direction and funding, aiming to disrupt regional stability and global navigation.

Iran’s Foreign Ministry has condemned the Israeli attack, labeling it “inhumane” and accusing the US of supporting Israel’s actions.

This escalation follows Israel’s killing of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah in a Beirut attack and intensified Israeli strikes on Gaza and Lebanon. The situation has sparked fears of a broader regional conflict.
