Kaduna State Faces New Security Threat as Bandits Abduct 6 Farmers

Kaduna Banditry: Six Farmers Abducted, Cows Rustled.

Kaduna State’s Kachia Local Government Area has witnessed another devastating incident of banditry, with six farmers kidnapped and several cows rustled.

According to a community leader who spoke to Daily Trust on Wednesday, September 25, the abduction occurred on Monday at approximately 5 pm in Gidan Busa community. Four males and two females were taken while working on their farms.

The bandits, armed and menacing, stormed the farms, leaving the community in a state of panic. The community leader swiftly alerted vigilantes from neighboring Jobgwom village, who mobilized to pursue the perpetrators into the forest.

In a separate incident on the same day, bandits invaded a Fulani settlement in Gadan-Malam Maman, rustling an unspecified number of cows. Two villagers were shot and injured during the escape.

The community leader confirmed that troops have been informed about the incidents, sparking hopes of swift action against the perpetrators.
