Vigilante Group ‘Yan Sakai’ Nets Notorious Kidnappers in Bauchi State.
A daring operation by the ‘Yan Sakai’ vigilante group in Ningi Local Government Area, Bauchi State, has led to the capture of two notorious kidnappers, known only by their aliases ‘Yellow’ and ‘Sallau’. The suspects confessed to killing two victims, Hardo Bombi and Sarkin Lambu, despite receiving N9 million in ransom.
In a shocking video confession, Yellow and Sallau revealed they had masterminded multiple kidnappings, collecting up to N50 million in ransom. Their arrest follows an order by the late Emir to complement conventional security efforts.
The Ningi Emirate Council Secretary, Usman Saleh Magayaki, confirmed the incident, praising the vigilante group’s efforts. The suspects are currently in ‘Yan Sakai’ custody and will be handed over to the police for further investigation.
This breakthrough marks a significant victory in the fight against kidnapping in the Emirate.
