Abuja Kidnapping Ring Busted: Police Dismantle Hideouts, Arrest Ex-Con and Associates.

In a daring operation, the FCT Police Command’s Anti-Kidnapping Unit smashed a notorious kidnapping gang terrorizing Abuja, arresting four key suspects and recovering a cache of arms and ammunition.

The suspects – Yau Sani (Baba), an ex-convict, Nuhu (Giwa), Kabiru Mohammed, and Yusuf Hassan – were caught in their Sauka hideout, confessing to multiple kidnappings, seven murders, and plans to attack government institutions and estates.

Police seized four AK-47 rifles, 13 magazines, and 162 live rounds from a second hideout in Gauraka Forest, Suleja.

The FCT Police Command praised its proactive efforts in preventing further attacks, reaffirming its commitment to stamping out crime in the capital territory.
