Ogun Police Arrest Neighbor for Exhuming, Mutilating 13-Year-Old Girl’s Corpse.

A shocking crime has shaken Igbosoro village in Ogun State, as police arrested Ogidan Mustapha for exhuming and mutilating the corpse of his 13-year-old neighbor, Oriyomi Gboyega, who died from electrocution. Three others were also apprehended for assisting in digging the grave.

Police spokesperson SP Omolola Odutola revealed that Mustapha was caught dumping the mutilated body near a river. Investigation showed both hands had been amputated. The suspect denied involvement but admitted helping the girl’s father bury her.

Two rifles and charms were found at Mustapha’s residence. The case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for further investigation.
